To be honest, I found myself asking the very same question until I discovered him. His life has been overshadowed for generations, but he is a very prominent figure in a rather unexpected line of work: distilling alcohol for the now famous brand Jack Daniel.

Lush: Parental Advisory

If shock value was worth money, Australian graffiti artist Lush would be rolling in  dough. With graphic scenes of genitalia, ripped heads, and breasts, Lush has managed to offend more than half of the Australian population. For over 12 years, he’s been plastering the street with his obscene art and he’s more than proud of it. “It’s the ultimate self-gratification, f*ck jerking off, it’s just a lot better to hear random people talk about you and say the most outrageous shit,” he told Acclaim magazine.

Local Green Atlanta: “Eat Well, Be Well”

When I walked into the Local Green Atlanta restaurant, located in West Atlanta, the first thing I noticed was a large sign that says: “Eat Well, Be Well.” Then my attention went to the wall covered in colorful paper, where customers were encouraged to write down and share their goals. Some of the notes were simple, such as “eat healthier and recycle more,” and others were more serious, like to “always have a servants heart.” Right away the small details set the tone for what this restaurant is all about.
