Actively Black: Faith Over Fear

It’s nearly every young man’s dream to become a pro athlete growing up. Despite how difficult that dream is to accomplish, for many of us in the Black community, it feels like the weight of the world can be lifted from our shoulders if we work hard enough to make that dream a reality. So we strive, sacrifice, and do whatever is necessary to achieve that goal, regardless only a small percentage of us actually reach that goal.

Jack Harlow: The Art of Relatability

It’s rare for an artist to emerge on the music scene and completely capture the industry’s attention - yet, Louisville, Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow is currently living this reality. However, Harlow isn’t entirely new to the music industry. His debut was in 2014 with the mixtape “Finally Handsome,” and an EP following the same name in 2015, though it wasn’t until 2020 with his hit song “What’s Popping” that his name began dominating the charts and the headlines.
