So we strive, sacrifice, and do whatever is necessary to achieve that goal, regardless only a small percentage of us actually reach that goal.

Growing up in Seattle, Chris Benz always had an eye for style. He recalls to Teen Vogue Magazine that he refused to conform to what was considered the norm or fashionable. He remembers skimming through fashion magazines during late nights until he discovered that Parsons accepted a small selection of high school juniors into their program, he applied and was accepted at age seventeen.

Fashion is a form of expression and it’s exciting to find up-and-coming designers who try new and bold concepts in the industry. But, who knew bold could be so familiar? For me, looking for the right style can be difficult. Sometimes, I’ll throw on a solid varsity jacket for a street-wear getup, maybe a black windbreaker for a tech-wear-inspired outfit, and if all else fails, I know I can’t go wrong with a full-on normcore of t-shirt and jeans.
