In July, Pinterest created a list on their daily inspiration page of Black artists and creators to look out for. Among the list of artists, there was a photographer who took her still images and added on different materials like gold. The picture posted to Pinterest was of a young Black girl from “The Redemption” collection by Photographer Tawny Chatmon, in which the girl had unapologetically natural hair with extra elements to essentiate her beauty.
As heavy rock instrumentals start in the background, the music video begins with the frontman falling backward while the rest of the band rocks out in slow motion. The heavy guitar and drum get your blood pumping and your body moving to the beat. The song “Two-Way Mirror” goes along with the angst of rock in which UK rock band Loathe says in their lyrics:

According to theAmputee Coalition of America, Black people are 1.5 to 3.5 times more likely to undergo an amputation of a limb, while Hispanics are 3.6 times more likely than non-Hispanic white Americans to experience a limb amputation.
Similar to fashion recycling, the early 90s alternative rock band, The Afghan Whigs, is coming back and adjusting to the 21st-century music scene. The band worked alongside some of the greats, like Nirvana, in the popular time of 90s grunge.
