At just 25 years old, designer Conner Ives has achieved more than many designers do in a lifetime. A graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, England, Ives exploded on the fashion scene with a vision and exertion that seemed to be missing. Amid a most uncertain time, he managed to establish his aesthetic to a point where he and his wildest imaginations could thrive. Ives has taken what he always knew about fashion and reinvented it.

Ever since the death of actor Chadwick Boseman, Black Panther fans everywhere have waited anxiously for the follow up to the film. Many wondered how Marvel would approach the plot after the original leading actor succumbed to an ongoing battle with cancer. The writers of the film had their work cut out for them. With a fan base as devoted as this one, the obligation to do this sequel justice was enormous.

Industrial Designer Stephen Burks’ “Shelter in Place” exhibit at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art is artist expression in physical form. Like many of Burks' works, the pieces in this collection inspire innovation from handmade structures. 

Burks, a Chicago native, graduated from The Illinois Institute of Technology.  While there he studied in the school’s Crown Hall designed by his biggest inspiration, American-German Architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Burks went on to study architecture at Colombia University Graduate School before opening his own studio in New York in 1997.

Sergi Cadenas is a self-taught artist from the Northern Catalonian region of Spain. He was exposed to artistic inspirations from the day he was born. Landscapes such as the Pyrenees Mountains and sceneries like the historic Gothic Quarter are only a fraction of the visual elements presented to him on a daily basis. He began his journey as an artist at just 15 years old while working under his father in the family business. Ferros d’art Cadenas, their family blacksmith business was passed down to him by his father and it is still in business today.
