BronzeLens Film Festival: What We Look Like

What do “Spiderman: No Way Home (2021)” directed by Jon Watts,  Tyler Perry’s “ A Madea Family Funeral (2019),” and Edgar Wright’s “Baby Driver (2017)” all have in common? For one, they are all very popular movies. More specifically, they are movies shot and filmed in the city of Atlanta. This massive popularity and growth in Georgia’s film industry brings in billions of dollars to the state, but with such a high volume of motion pictures being shipped straight from Atlanta’s studios, it can be difficult for up-and-coming filmmakers to earn proper recognition and exposure–Enter stage left: The BronzeLens Film Festival.

Mike Leavitt: Sculpting Modern Culture

In his early childhood years, Sculptor Mike Leavitt spent his time learning about graphic design and engineering. Raised in Seattle, WA his interest in art came from his parents. Another factor that sparked Leavitt's fascination for art was the Native American Scandinavian woodcraft, wooden figures that replicates important Native American figures of the Scandinavian tribe. The structure of the wooden carvings made the figures look spot-on.

They fully captured the “American dream,” having immigrated from South Korea in the mid-80s building their company from the ground up. For over thirty years, the Changs maintained a recognizable and fast-growing brand up until only a few years ago when the worldwide retailer suddenly filed for bankruptcy. This is the tragic tale of the fall and rebirth of the fast-fashion family retailer, Forever 21.

The average A.I. brand wearer is said to be adventurous in their spirit, mind, and style.

Myriam Belasse: Fashion is in my DNA

It may have been the scooped-neck red dress with the big puffy sleeves, the white skirt, white lace socks, shoes, and bag that she wore on Christmas Day, or those high-waisted sassy bell bottom jeans with the white belt that made Myriam Belasse, a young girl from Barbados stand out among the crowd. 

Either way Belasse’s mom, a professional seamstress had an eye for fashion and served as an unofficial stylist for her daughters. She worked as a professional seamstress who created stylish clothing, paired with matching accessories for her children, especially during the bank holidays. And, they became the talk of the town.
