In Max Hemphill’s photography, humanity screams in subtle vibrancies that illustrate the details and rawness of his subjects. His captivating and sharp-edged photos of people and earthly endeavors encompass components of human nature that the human eye can fail to recognize in passing.

Unbounded depictions of his subjects create an element of freshness and tranquility in a current world condition where so much chaos and movement run our lives. It is as if we can feel the breath and warmth of the people we are looking at. These photographs are intimate, safe, and wildly meaningful through emotional displays of power, freedom, and authentic joy.
