Dom Won Chang and his family founded one of the largest fast-fashion retailers in the US. They fully captured the “American dream,” having immigrated from South Korea in the mid-80s building their company from the ground up. For over thirty years, the Changs maintained a recognizable and fast-growing brand up until only a few years ago when the worldwide retailer suddenly filed for bankruptcy. This is the tragic tale of the fall and rebirth of the fast-fashion family retailer, Forever 21.
Punk is not like any other music genre. Punk is a lifestyle choice–a creed and a community, at least to the musicians behind the American punk-rock band from Pittsburgh, Anti-Flag. This group of anti-nationalist, anti-racist, anti-sexist musicians has operated in the zeitgeist for over thirty years.

It’s a pro-protest bop commenting on the rhetoric that Trump used to rile his base.

These are only brief descriptions of scenes captured by the magnumphotographer Elliot Erwitt, and I was fortunate to observe some of his work this week at the Jackson Fine Artgallery on a Thursday morning, in Midtown, Atlanta.

SHE by Benais this Gawanaian entrepreneur's womenswear fashion brandthat found its roots locally in Makola, Ghana, in 2012. Within the first year of the company’s conception, SHE by Bena quickly acquired a national reputation.
