Fashion and Italy should be synonymous. Italian fashion houses rule the fashion industry with an iron fist, a fist that is obviously in cased in the finest silks. Designers from Italy seem to have an almost preordained gift for fashion designing.

The fashion houses of Italy are absolutely prolific. A well-known fashion powerhouse is Dolce & Gabbana. The male duo has released line after line of clothes and accessories for decades. Celebrities, politicians and royalty alike appear in their latest and greatest creations. On September 24th, Dolce & Gabbana showcased their Spring/Summer 2018 Ready-To-Wear line in Milan’s Fashion Week. Many designers unveiled their newest creations but none could compare to D&G's royal and colorful theme of Queen of Hearts. According to Vogue, Domenico Dolce stated, “You can find love everywhere,” thus the inspiration for Queen of Hearts was born.
