Getting your face painted is one of the childhood joys of a carnival or party, but it’s an art style that is so often relegated only to children’s events. However, multimedia artist Huang Yan changes that. Huang is based in Beijing and he first rose to prominence by displaying his paintings on an unusual canvas: the human body.
