Fashion designs always come with a backstory. I’ve seen extraordinary designs inspired by the Earth’s vast landscapes and living creatures, some very spiritual inspired by the traditional practices of set cultures and others inspired by eras throughout history like the Roaring 20s or the Victorian era. However, few have made me smile like the designs of Daniel Roseberry, the artistic director of Maison Schiaparelli. His work follows the blazed trail of Fashion Designer Elsa Schiaparelli and is rooted in the fantastical concept of surrealism.
