For decades, hip hop has grown to easily be one of the most prevalent genres and movements in America. What started in the Bronx in the 70s as a way to express culture, tell a story and give a voice to the voiceless quickly traveled to the south and became something completely new. Since the 80s Atlanta has taken hip hop and ran with it, and the product of years of rapping, fashion, street art and expression became a cultural phenomenon that the world has greatly absorbed.
