Jackie Liu: The Visual Diary of a Young Artist

Have you ever wanted to see inside the mind of someone else? Were you curious about their perspectives, experiences, and how these things may have shaped them into the person they are today? We have the traditional ways of studying the etched writings in our journals or performing poetry among a crowd, both of which are vivid and meaningful. However, 18-old-artist Jackie Liu gives the word "diary" an entirely different meaning. She brings the inside of her mind to life through paintings and storytelling. The artist reflects on her experiences in a wise, unorthodox way which makes her seem wise beyond her years.
