Elliott Erwitt: Found, Not Lost

The Power of Retrospective

A couple in a convertible facing the horizon.

A band of young trumpeters crossing the road.

A girl and a man walking toward a foggy footpath.

These are only brief descriptions of scenes captured by the magnum photographer Elliot Erwitt, and I was fortunate to observe some of his work this week at the Jackson Fine Art gallery on a Thursday morning, in Midtown, Atlanta.
