Naama Tsabar: Sculptures of Sound

A New York-born Israeli artist is turning buildings into playable works of sensory art. Bringing elements of sculpture and sound together, the visionary (audio-nary) creator Naama Tsabar reintroduces music as a collaborative practice.

Tsabar’s visual artwork frequently intersects architecture and audio. Many of her installations are collaborative in execution, and she often works with women and gender non-conforming, classically trained musicians to present haunting and tangible audio spaces.
